Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Threat Shield AI Security (the “App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our VPN application, visit holo-vpn.com, or contact our support team.
Effective and last updated: August 5, 2026We believe privacy information should be understandable. Our general approach is to minimize data, avoid collecting information that is not needed to provide the Service, and not sell or rent personal information. Please read this Policy together with our Terms of Service.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Policy applies to the Threat Shield AI Security iOS application, the website available at holo-vpn.com, and communications sent to support@holo-vpn.com. It does not govern Apple’s independent processing of information through the App Store, Apple Account, StoreKit, payment, subscription, refund, device, or platform services. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own policies and agreements.
2. Our privacy principles
We operate the Service according to the following principles:
- collect as little information as reasonably necessary;
- do not sell personal information;
- do not rent personal information;
- do not use browsing activity for advertising profiles;
- do not intentionally disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing;
- use limited information only for operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Service, or where required by law.
3. VPN traffic and browsing activity
Threat Shield AI Security is designed not to record or store the content of your internet communications, the websites you visit, your browsing history, destination IP addresses, or the content of DNS requests as part of a user activity profile. We do not use VPN traffic to create advertising profiles, and we do not sell VPN browsing activity.
Like any VPN service, network packets must be transmitted through technical infrastructure in order to establish and maintain the VPN connection. This transient processing is necessary to provide the service you request. It is not intended to create a history of your browsing activity.
4. Information you provide directly
You may provide information when you contact support. Depending on what you choose to include, a support message may contain your email address, device model, iOS version, screenshots, diagnostic descriptions, or other information relevant to your request. You should not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, private keys, authentication codes, or other highly sensitive information.
We use support information to answer your request, troubleshoot the reported issue, prevent abuse, and maintain a record of the assistance provided. We do not use support correspondence to build advertising profiles.
5. Information generated by the App
The App may locally process technical information needed to display and manage a VPN connection, such as connection state, selected server location, connection duration, latency estimates, feature settings, and subscription entitlement status. Where possible, this information remains on your device or is handled in a limited operational form.
We do not require you to create a named developer account to use the core application unless the App clearly presents such an option in a future version. If account functionality is later introduced, this Policy will be updated before materially different processing begins.
6. Subscriptions and purchase information
Purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number, Apple Account password, or complete Apple billing credentials. Apple may provide the App or our server with limited transaction information required to validate entitlement, such as product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase status, renewal status, expiration date, and refund or revocation status.
We use such limited transaction information to activate premium access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, respond to purchase-related support requests, and maintain accurate subscription status.
7. Refund-related consumption information
If an end user submits an in-app purchase refund request to Apple, Apple may ask us for limited information about how the purchase was used. Where applicable, permitted, and subject to any consent required by Apple, we may provide Apple with purchase-consumption information such as approximate app usage duration, an anonymous app account identifier, lifetime amount spent in the App, lifetime amount refunded, delivery status, or whether the purchased functionality was used.
This information is provided only to support Apple’s administration and evaluation of the refund request. It is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or provided to unrelated third parties for their independent purposes.
8. Website information
When you visit holo-vpn.com, standard hosting infrastructure may temporarily process basic request information needed to deliver the page and maintain security, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type, device type, referral header, and error or security event information. This information may be present in short-lived server logs created by the hosting provider.
We do not use the website to collect VPN browsing history. The website is informational and does not require an account. If analytics, cookies, or additional website tools are added in the future, this Policy will be updated and any legally required notices or choices will be provided.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
The current informational website does not need advertising cookies to present its core content. Essential technical storage may be used by the browser, hosting platform, security layer, or content-delivery system where necessary for reliable delivery, abuse prevention, or user preferences. We do not use cookies to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. How we use information
Limited information described in this Policy may be used to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the VPN Service;
- display connection and subscription status;
- validate purchases and restore premium access;
- respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical problems;
- detect fraud, abuse, attacks, or misuse of the Service;
- comply with applicable legal obligations and valid legal process;
- protect users, our rights, and the reliability of the Service;
- evaluate aggregate operational performance without building a browsing-history profile.
11. Disclosure of information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not disclose browsing history to advertisers. Limited information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- Apple and platform services: for purchases, subscription validation, refunds, entitlement management, and compliance with platform requirements;
- service infrastructure: to carefully selected hosting, server, email, security, or support providers that process information only to perform services for us;
- legal obligations: when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or valid governmental request;
- safety and rights: to prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or harm, and to protect legal rights;
- business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued protection.
12. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. Support emails may be retained while a request is open and for a reasonable period afterward to document the resolution, prevent repeat abuse, and meet legal obligations. Limited purchase records may be retained for entitlement validation, accounting, fraud prevention, refund handling, and legal compliance.
Temporary technical logs, where generated by hosting or operational infrastructure, are retained for a limited period appropriate to reliability and security. Retention periods may vary when law requires a longer period or when information is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures may include access restrictions, encrypted transport, platform security features, credential management, server hardening, and monitoring for abuse.
No electronic system, VPN, network, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device, Apple Account, passcode, and other credentials.
14. International processing
VPN and website infrastructure may operate in more than one country. As a result, limited operational information may be processed in jurisdictions other than the one where you live. Where required, we take reasonable measures intended to provide an appropriate level of protection for such information.
15. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction, and it is not intended for use by children without involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that violates applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
16. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability concerning personal information we hold about you. Because the App is designed to minimize identifiable information and may not use a named developer account, we may not be able to identify data as belonging to you without sufficient verification.
To submit a request, email support@holo-vpn.com and clearly describe the request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request and protect users from unauthorized access. You may also manage application permissions in iOS and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
17. Do Not Track and advertising choices
The App does not use VPN browsing activity for cross-service behavioral advertising. Because there is no universally accepted technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the informational website may not respond to every such signal. We will honor legally required privacy choices where applicable.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App, law, security practices, infrastructure, or platform requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or another reasonable method where required.
Continued use of the Service after an updated Policy becomes effective means that the updated Policy applies to future processing, subject to any additional consent that applicable law may require.
