Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Threat Shield AI Security (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You represent that you have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms for you.

You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, court order, contractual restriction, or the rules of a network you are not authorized to use.

2. Description of the Service

Threat Shield AI Security provides VPN-related functionality intended to help users create an encrypted connection between a supported device and an available VPN server. Features may include one-tap connection controls, connection status, server selection, latency information, premium access, and related security or privacy tools.

The Service is a general-purpose privacy and network utility. It is not an antivirus guarantee, identity-theft insurance product, emergency service, legal compliance service, or promise of complete anonymity. VPN technology can improve connection privacy, but it cannot eliminate every security, tracking, malware, phishing, device, account, browser, or endpoint risk.

3. License to use the App

Subject to these Terms and applicable Apple terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for lawful personal use and as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

No ownership rights are transferred to you. The App, its design, software, interfaces, branding, text, graphics, and underlying technology remain owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
• access, distribute, upload, download, or facilitate unlawful content;
• harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, defraud, or harm another person;
• send spam, malware, ransomware, phishing messages, or malicious code;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, devices, networks, systems, or data;
• perform denial-of-service attacks, credential attacks, scraping that violates applicable rules, or other abusive automated activity;
• interfere with the stability, integrity, security, or availability of the Service;
• circumvent reasonable technical limitations, usage controls, or subscription checks;
• resell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit access without written authorization;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being used unlawfully, abusively, fraudulently, or in a way that endangers users, infrastructure, or third parties.

5. Network rules and local law

VPN laws and network rules vary by location. You are responsible for understanding and following the laws that apply to you and the terms governing any network, website, service, or content you access. The availability of the App in an App Store region does not constitute legal advice or a representation that every use of VPN technology is lawful in every jurisdiction.

You must not use the Service to evade a legal obligation, commit fraud, infringe intellectual property, or access systems without authorization. We do not encourage unlawful bypassing of access controls or contractual restrictions.

6. Service availability and server selection

Server locations, performance, speed, latency, capacity, and availability may change. A displayed location may represent a server region or routing endpoint and does not guarantee a specific physical address, speed, or access to any particular website or online service.

We may add, remove, replace, suspend, or limit servers and features for security, maintenance, capacity, legal, technical, or commercial reasons. Temporary interruptions may occur because of device settings, operating-system behavior, network restrictions, third-party outages, maintenance, congestion, or events beyond our reasonable control.

7. Free and premium functionality

The App may provide free functionality, premium functionality, trial access, promotional access, or combinations of these. Available features can vary by version, region, device, subscription product, introductory offer, or technical compatibility.

We may modify which features are included in a free or paid tier, provided that changes are implemented in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements. Any material purchase terms are presented through the App Store purchase interface before confirmation.

8. Auto-renewable subscriptions

Threat Shield AI Security may offer auto-renewable subscriptions. The subscription period, price, currency, available trial, introductory offer, and included benefits are shown in the App before purchase. You authorize Apple to charge the payment method associated with your Apple Account according to the displayed terms.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s then-current rules.
• Apple may charge the renewal amount within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
• Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted and as described by Apple.

9. Trials and promotional offers

A free trial or discounted introductory offer may be available only to eligible users and may be limited to one offer per Apple Account, subscription group, household, or other criteria determined by Apple. Eligibility is controlled through the App Store and is not guaranteed.

Unless cancelled before the deadline shown by Apple, a trial subscription may convert into a paid auto-renewable subscription at the price displayed at purchase. You are responsible for reviewing the conversion date and managing the subscription through Apple.

10. Billing, cancellation, and restoration

Apple processes App Store payments, billing, cancellation, and restoration. We do not have access to your complete payment-card credentials and generally cannot directly cancel an Apple subscription on your behalf. To cancel, open your Apple Account subscription settings and follow Apple’s instructions.

The App may include a Restore Purchases function. Restoration depends on your Apple Account, transaction history, network connection, Apple services, and the status of the original purchase. Contact support@holo-vpn.com if premium access does not appear after a valid purchase or restoration attempt.

11. Refunds and purchase-consumption information

Refund requests for App Store purchases are submitted to and decided by Apple under Apple’s rules. We do not guarantee that a refund will be approved and cannot override Apple’s decision.

When an end user requests a refund for an in-app purchase, we reserve the right, where applicable and permitted, to provide Apple with limited information regarding consumption of that purchase. Such information may include approximate time spent using the App, an anonymous account or app-account identifier, the total amount previously spent in the App, the total amount previously refunded, delivery status, and the extent to which the purchased feature was used. This information may be used by Apple to evaluate the refund request and is provided subject to Apple’s technical requirements and any user consent required by the platform.

Fraudulent refund activity, repeated abuse of purchase systems, or use of premium functionality after a refund or revocation may result in loss of premium access, restoration limits, or other reasonable protective measures consistent with applicable law and platform rules.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the Service and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you acknowledge that technical processing necessary to create and maintain a VPN connection will occur and that Apple independently processes purchase and platform information under its own terms.

13. Updates and changes to the App

We may release updates, patches, fixes, interface changes, server changes, compatibility improvements, or new features. Some updates may be necessary for security, purchase validation, operating-system compatibility, or continued access. Failure to install an available update may cause features to operate differently or become unavailable.

We are not obligated to maintain every historical feature, server, interface, or operating-system version indefinitely. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption.

14. Third-party services and content

The Service may depend on Apple services, network operators, hosting providers, data centers, email systems, or other infrastructure. We do not control third-party websites, apps, content, or services that you access while connected to the VPN. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

A VPN connection does not make third-party content accurate, lawful, safe, or available. Websites and streaming services may block VPN traffic or change their access policies without notice. We do not guarantee access to any particular third-party service or geographic catalog.

15. Intellectual property

Threat Shield AI Security, its names, logos, interface, graphics, website, documentation, and software are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. You may not remove ownership notices, imitate branding in a misleading way, or use our marks without prior written permission, except for lawful nominative references.

Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to compensate you, provided that we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You remain responsible for cancelling an active subscription through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create a security risk, fail to pay through the applicable platform, or if continued operation becomes unlawful or technically impracticable.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning ownership, payment obligations already incurred, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute terms, and interpretation.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, free of harmful components, available in every location, compatible with every network, or capable of preventing all tracking, attacks, fraud, malware, data loss, or unauthorized access. We do not guarantee a particular connection speed, IP address, server location, or access to third-party content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, licensors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or expected savings arising from or related to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). This limit does not apply where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify any party for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

20. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that we—not Apple—are solely responsible for the App and its content, subject to applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by its rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation concerning the App.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. Your use of the App must also comply with applicable App Store terms and usage rules.

21. Export controls and sanctions

You may not use, export, re-export, transfer, or make the App available in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, or trade laws. You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a comprehensive embargo that prohibits the transaction and that you are not a prohibited or restricted party under applicable law.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Service operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory consumer law of your place of residence applies. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact support@holo-vpn.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or your right to bring a claim before a court or authority where mandatory law gives you that right. Because the legal name and registered address of the Service operator may be separately disclosed in App Store metadata or required legal notices, those disclosures control where mandatory law requires more specific identification.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, security practices, platform rules, or business operations. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription through Apple.

24. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a restructuring, merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the Service.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the purchase terms displayed by Apple, and any additional terms expressly presented in the App constitute the agreement concerning the Service. Headings are for convenience only and do not limit interpretation.
